NC brew expert Nathaniel Ferugson provides corporate training in Collingwood.
The Canadian Food and Wine Institute is pleased to announce the official launch its Corporate Training Division, Expert Edge.
On April 19 the CFWI provided Brew 101 Training to 40 staff members from Thornbury Beverage Company and Colio Estate Wines at Blue Mountain Resort in Collingwood. The training included comparisons of Thornbury beer with other brands of the same style, as well as Niagara College beer tastings.
Members of the group noted they were impressed with the training, and felt they received a world-class training experience.
“On behalf of the Colio and Thornbury team, we want to thank you … for conducting what has overwhelmingly been described by some beer sales veterans that were in the room, as by far the best, most comprehensive and engaging beer training program they have ever seen,” said Danielle Giroux, VP of Marketing, Colio Estate Wines. “The materials were top notch, the instructor Nate [Ferguson] was dynamic, incredibly knowledgeable and held the attention span of a sales team for two hours – which is a feat in itself.”
“We enjoyed the interaction and hands-on experience of the raw materials and samples,” she said. “These enhanced the learning and brought the concepts to life in a unique and memorable way.”
The team at CFWI is very excited for future training opportunities, when we have the chance to share our wealth of knowledge and experience on the world stage.
