Niagara College Teaching Brewery
The Niagara College Teaching Brewery is Canada’s first and only teaching brewery, and a practical learning environment for students in Niagara College’s Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management program.
The open-concept state-of-the-art 1,500 sq. ft. teaching micro-brewery facility allows students to brew their own craft beer on-campus and gain significant hands-on training in beer making, sales management and sensory evaluation.
Brewery Retail Store

Niagara College Teaching Winery
The Niagara College Teaching Winery is the center for wine education in the Niagara Peninsula.
It offers both a diploma and certificate program for those with the desire to succeed in the sophisticated and dynamic field of wineries and viticulture. It is Canada’s only commercial teaching winery, an international award-winning program located in the heart of Canada’s largest and fastest growing wine region.
Wine Visitor + Education Centre
The Teaching Winery is located within the Wine Visitor + Education Centre at the Niagara College Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus. The Winery Retail Store within the WV+EC is open seven days a week for tour and tasting experiences.
The Wine Visitor + Education Centre (WVEC) is $3.6 million facility set in the our teaching vineyards. It is a unique state-of-the-art industry centre that showcases Canadian wine, houses wine tourism information services, the Niagara College Teaching Winery, and academic and wine industry programming. It serves as a gateway for the Niagara wine region and celebrates the Ontario and Canadian grape and wine industry through informative displays, tours, and an information centre to assist visitors in their exploration of wines and wine country.
